Through Microsoft Rewards, participants can help provide working smoke alarms to households in need. Smoke alarms reduce the risk of death in a home fire by providing early warning, giving families critical time to escape. Contributions help expand access to these life-saving devices and improve fire safety in homes.
Microsoft partners with Benevity to facilitate its donations. Your points redemption activity will be deducted from your account immediately. Within six weeks after the end of the month in which you redeem your points, Microsoft will make a cash donation based on your redemption to a donor-advised fund at the Benevity UK Online Giving Foundation (OGF), with a recommendation that they make a corresponding grant to your selected nonprofit organization
