Donation to UK Youth

UK Youth is the largest national body for the youth sector. Founded in 1911, our growing network of youth organisations now reaches over 830,500 young people aged 9-25 across the UK. Our mission is to work hand in hand with young people – and the dedicated organisations supporting them – to develop the skills, belief, courage and leadership to build a bright future, regardless of background or circumstances. We achieve this by creating an ecosystem of youth provision that works for everyone. Last year we invested £4.3 million on direct delivery to young people through our network of members, piloting new approaches, investing in areas of high deprivation and low provision, supporting outdoor education and rolling out successful programmes nationwide.

Microsoft and UK Youth have worked in partnership since 2012 to enable disadvantaged young people across the UK to grow their IT skills and inspire them about computer science, coding and the opportunities available in the digital world.

The cash donation to the non-profit organization will be made on your behalf following the expiration of the calendar quarter (i.e., March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31) in which your donation is made. Microsoft will use reasonable efforts to provide the cash donation to the applicable non-profit organization within 60 days of the end of the previous calendar quarter. Microsoft shall make such payment to non-profit organizations of Microsoft’s choosing on your behalf if: (i) the non-profit organization you choose is no longer available at the redemption center when the payment is made; or (ii) the aggregated cash donation for your non-profit organization at the time the payment is made is under £8. Contributions to non-profit organizations that are undeliverable will be given to a non-profit organization of Microsoft’s choosing on your behalf.
